I carried out my initial medical training at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in London. I then worked in London for a year prior to starting my senior house officer training in Cardiff. My registrar cardiology training started in Cardiff and Swansea with a year spent specialising in coronary intervention in Southampton, Toulouse and Newcastle.
I obtained my Doctorate on the influence of fatty meal ingestion and vascular function, with ongoing research interests in coronary artery disease. I am currently a consultant interventional cardiologist based at the University Hospital of Wales and Llandough Hospital.
I now specialise in Hypertension Management, Atrial Fibrillation, Coronary Artery Disease, Cardiac Catheterisation, Coronary Angiopasty and Stenting.
